Hello Keith, sorry to hear that... But I found it a bit hard to believe that your engine would run out of oil without you noticing it. Some drops of oil on the ground under the bike...some drops of oil on your boots or trousers...you never noticed anything like that ? 10k miles, the bike is almost new ! The oil-leak explanation does not seem logical. Of course it is extremly imoprtant that every time before you start the bike you should check the oil level, since it is so easy. Make it into a habit. No machine works without oil, I would not say that Savages are notorious oilbleeders, like some American-made twins that usually have a pond of oil underneath at most bike shows that I have attended. Take the bike to another place, and ask a mechanic with good reputation to have a look at it. You have no warranty left ?
